Daytime Claytime – Morning sessions at the studio

Daytime Claytime

Take a creative pause and spend two relaxed hours hand-building with clay at the Clayground studio. Daytime Claytime is perfect if you’d like unstructured studio time to focus on a small personal project—whether you’re shaping a cup, bowl, or experimenting with new forms. Each session starts at 10:00 and ends at 12:00

This session is self-guided, with studio tools and materials provided, giving you the freedom to work at your own pace in a calm, creative environment.

What’s included

• 🕒 2 hours of studio time (Start time 10:00)

• 🧱 Clay for hand-building

• 🛠 Studio tools

• 👕 Apron use

• 🧘 A relaxed, welcoming workspace

Firing & glazing

• Firing costs: €7 per kg (charged after your pieces are weighed)

• Glazing is not included in this session

If you’d like to glaze your pieces, we recommend joining one of our monthly Glazing Workshops:

• 🎨 €60

• Includes use of glazes and firing costs

• Held at the end of each month (please ask us to find out upcoming dates each month)

Good to know

• Suitable for beginners and experienced makers

• Ideal for hand-built projects

• Finished pieces are ready for collection after firing (items are ready to collect 1-2 weeks later)

• Clayground is a communal studio. Please leave the area as you found it at the end of the session. Surfaces and tools are to be wiped down after use, ready for the next potter to use.
