Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued for eligible returns within 30 days of the purchase date.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds will be processed in the original form of payment.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Non-refundable items

Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Return Policy

To initiate a return,
please contact us at hey@claygroundceramics.com to obtain a return authorisation.

Once your return is authorised, please securely package the item and ship it to Clayground Berlin, Danneckerstr. 7 10245 Berlin.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure that your return reaches us safely.

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund.

Exchanges

Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.

Damaged or Defective Items

In the rare event that your ceramic piece arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately upon receipt.
We will work with you to arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Please retain the original packaging and take photos of the damage to assist us in processing your claim.

Custom or personalised items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our eligibility criteria.

Returns policy – Clay kits

We very rarely have a request to return a clay kit, but we hope to make clear our policy for this situation.

Clay kits may only be returned if the shipment that arrived is not the item that you had ordered. For example, if you ordered a full clay kit and somehow only received clay instead, then of course we will refund you and take the returned item, if we can’t simply send you what you wanted in the first place.

In all other cases we do not take returns and offer refunds. We are a super small community studio that runs part-time. We do our best to serve the demand in our extended community, but we can’t offer unlimited returns and refunds.

We are very clear in our product listings about which items are included in a clay kit. If an item is not listed there, then it is not included.

Clay kits are shipped every Tuesday. If you are ordering a clay kit for a special occasion, such as a birthday, please be conscious of the delivery time, which may be approximately 2 weeks if you order on a Tuesday or Wednesday – then we ship your items out the following week. We will not take returned kits and refund orders due to an expectations that the kit would arrive by a specific, sooner date. Just like work with ceramics, sometimes shipments of nice things take time.
