Our ceramic studio is a community of people who often work behind screens and seek a better balance. We envision a world where people like us turn off Netflix, put down the phone in the evenings, and make their own dishes instead.
But we know it takes time, space, inspiration and collaboration to make progress as a potter.
We provide courses for various skill levels, and studio space for members, to give them the time and flexibility to hone their craft.
Some of our members have even gone from total beginners to launching their own small brands and studios after developing their skill and style at Clayground.

Our Ethos
Clayground Berlin was founded with the vision of creating a studio where a small, passionate group of potters could collaborate and grow together without overcrowding or restrictive time slots. Since its inception in 2019, Clayground has evolved into a thriving community of artists and potters. It offers flexible studio access, allowing members to work around their busy schedules and pursue their pottery goals.
Clayground emerged as Berlin’s inaugural community ceramic studio, offering members unrestricted access to the studio 24/7. It filled a crucial gap for individuals aspiring to excel in pottery while accommodating their busy schedules.
In April, Tiziana, originally from Malta, took over and continued to run this passion project. She moved to Berlin a few years ago and started by helping to take over the day-to-day tasks at the studio as well as teaching monthly wheel-throwing classes. She now looks forward to bringing you into this oasis and helping you improve your ceramics in the company of the kind and creative humans working here. Tiziana is the resident tutor for the monthly pottery classes and workshops.
