About the Sommelier:
Originally from the Champagne region, Fanny Thiel has a profound connection to the heritage of this exceptional terroir. Her journey began with three years as a guide for the prestigious Champagne house Joseph Perrier, where she honed her expertise in the technical, cultural, and sensory aspects of champagne.
With a Master’s degree in Art History and over a decade of experience in the art world, Fanny has uniquely positioned herself at the intersection of art and champagne. Her ability to draw parallels between these two worlds—both rich in emotion and creativity—has become a hallmark of her projects.
Since moving to Berlin in 2016, Fanny has built a distinctive career that seamlessly blends her passion for art with her deep-rooted knowledge of champagne. Her work connects artists, art lovers, and connoisseurs from around the globe, making her an inspiring ambassador for the traditions and values of champagne.
Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to discover Champagne Lombard, a prestigious, family-owned house from Épernay with over a century of tradition. Now led by Thomas Lombard, the house is renowned for its terroir-driven, low-dosage champagnes, highlighting Premier & Grand Cru selections. Known for elegant, mineral-driven cuvées that balance heritage and innovation, Champagne Lombard’s craftsmanship will be showcased through two signature champagnes: the classic Extra Brut and the refined Extra Brut Rosé.
